Villa La Riva

Dahab Island, Giza — a short boat ride across the Nile

Open in Google Maps

Getting there, made easy

Navigate to the boat dock, not the island Tap "Open in Google Maps" above — the entrance is on the Giza shore, about 500 m from El Monib metro station, at the Hadayek El Rarayy entrance under El Kasabgy bridge. The photo below shows the entrance to drive (or ride) through to reach the shore.

The venue is reached by boat 🛶 Villa La Riva sits on Dahab Island, so the last leg is a short (and lovely) boat ride across the Nile. The crossing takes just a few minutes — flat, comfortable shoes make boarding easier.
Driving or ride-hailing Driving? There's a parking area on the shore right by the boat dock — the photo below shows exactly where to leave your car. If you're taking Uber or Careem, set the drop-off to the map pin; cars can't cross to the island.

Arrive a little early Boats shuttle guests in groups, so arriving 20–30 minutes before the start means a relaxed crossing and time for golden-hour photos by the water.
